Hello, my name is John. I work at a doctor's office from 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. I am a receptionist. Everyday I see different people come in with different problems. They usually do not want to be here.

Today, three people come in the morning. At 10 o’clock, a mother comes with her daughter, Suzette. Suzette feels sick. She has a headache and a sore throat. The doctor gives her medicine. At 10:30, Laura complains about her foot. It hurts because she fell off a ladder. The doctor tells him he can not walk for 2 weeks. Next, at 11 o’clock, Mariko says she is going to have a baby. She has a baby girl.

In the afternoon, four people come to the doctor’s office. At 1 o’clock, Alexander wants to see the doctor for a check up. He feels good and he wants to make sure he is ok. The doctor says he is healthy. At 1:30, Andrea comes in. She does not feel good. She is very sick. She feels nauseous and has a fever. She wants to throw up. The doctor tells her to take some medicine and to rest. At 2:30, Steve enters. He is not happy. He is a construction worker and he broke his hand. The doctor puts his hand in a cast.
